Has original handels and sub seconds dial which are all in remarkable condition, it has gilt hands and numbers and Glass Face Case.
The watch measures 30mm in diameter not including the crown.
The watch is guaranteed to be a genuine Vertex in all respects.
Manual wind Swiss Movement, beautiful sweeping 2nd hand with English Hallmarked 9 ct gold case.
VERTEX, Made in England, UK Hallmark DS&S (Dennison) 9, 375 for 9ct Solid Gold and some other symbols, also has patent number 33588 and Swiss Vertex Logo.
It is hallmarked for 9 ct Gold on the lug as mentioned above and there is an engraving on the rear to the watch dated with the inscription that reads," Presented by BOCM SILCOCK LTD to E. NEWSHAM For Good Service 1959 - 1974"
The watch comes with Greek Key Design fixo-flex rolled gold expandable strap which fits a wrist size of up to 7.5 inches by approximately 16mm wide.
This is a very desirable and wearable Watch with Classical Styling and also is very Beautiful in its Simplicity.
There are some scratches around the case area due to wear but still doesn't distract from its vintage beauty.
Excellent vintage condition with a few light signs of wear to the face and around case.
It is in Working Order but have not checked it's precise time keeping!
