Jewellery Case with Lock & Key – C. 1895
Good Quality late 19th Century, Brown Leather-bound tiered
Jewellery Box or Case, with a brass lock. Gilt line, Brown/aged bronze coloured
Moroccan leather box, brass metalwork, working lock & Key, removable tray, fully
lined in brown leather, burgundy velvet & silk.
Condition: Good/Fair Antique condition. Outer
leather has a good colour, showing some age related wear, scuffing & tiny
amounts of missing leather. Outer metalwork is in working order with an aged
patina. Internal sections are in good order, showing light wear & no staining,
the velvet lining has faded lightly but still has a good pile. Hinges, lock
& key work well, key is not original. High resolution images are part of
