in 1889 by Messrs. Dupont and Roussel, the Dupont d'Isigny company
is one of the oldest French confectioners. The company's activity
began with the production and trading of Isigny butter. From 1894,
on the Cambe site (14), it became a dairy specializing in the
production of milk, butter and cheese. In 1932, the activity
diversified with the manufacture of biscuits and the famous
caramels.
