would like to stress that you are purchasing military surplus from
around the world. Unless the item states that it is new, NOS condition in packaging items in non or un-issued condition can be 50 years
old or more. They will not show wear or signs of use but they have been
stored for years and shipped around the world so they will show signs of
storage and may have that military surplus smell.
Swiss Alpenflage M70 Camo Combat Parka w/matching pack, Size Large, good condition, free shipping
This is a genuine Swiss M70 Alpenflage Camo heavy combat field parka with the matching camo backpack. In good used condition. These are old military surplus from the 1970's. It may have well done stitched repairs or may need minor repair but all zippers work and I didn't check every snap but I checked a lot of them and they all worked. These all have years of life left in them. The parka and matching pack may have fading and or minor repairs but they still look fairly good.
These are the older 1970's Era heavier weight jacket and packs. They are just old school awesome!
The Parka Features five front snap closure pockets, quality zipper front closure along with a snap closure, hood with a drawstring tightener. Reinforced shoulders and elbows. Also features Shoulder Epaulets and Sleeve Cuffs with zippers. Three large back pockets with snap closure. One large zippered inner pocket. A large zippered game/gear pouch on the inside of the parka back (makes these perfect for fall small game hunting). Elastic band on bottom of jacket for secure fit. Also has an attached spring clip to add additional gear. The hood has an attached insect veil that rolls up inside the hood until you need it. Material is a 50% Cotton, 50% Polyester blend.
- The pack is in good used condition (will also have some well done threaded repairs). The packs that I have left are the old style packs updated with more modern shoulder and chest straps as seen in the last photo. Note that they are not adjustable at the shoulders and may fit loosely.
- Please check the measurements shown below compared to one that fits you well prior to ordering. Returns for the wrong size are very expensive.
- The L/R parka is marked size 52. The chest is an app. 48" as measured all of the way around the outside of the jacket or 24" pit to pit, it is app. 18 1/2" across the shoulders and the sleeves are app. 24" as measured from the outside edge of the shoulder seam to the tip of the sleeves. Length is app. 30". Note that this last one is a bit faded on the bottom front. I've added two photos of it to the photo gallery. It is shown in the last two photos.
- The unique Swiss Alpenflage Fall Camo pattern is a favorite among hunters for its tan, brown, green and red leaf design. Very effective for fall and early winter. These may not be for everybody but you gotta' admit that they're pretty cool. Made in Switzerland.
