TONED SPECIAL

The second "special issue" ten-lirot commemorative coin was issued by the Bank of Israel in dedication to the Soviet lews in their struggle for free-dom. Prime Minister Golda Meir, speaking 10 The Knesset said: "We regard it as our privilege and our duty to appeal to the nations of the world to be neither silent nor aloof. We appeal to them to support Soviet Jewry in their righteous struggle and to strengthen its hands by every form of civic aid that can match so dedicated a cause. For all that the government of the Soviet Union is stubborn there is hope yet that international efforts will bear fruit." The cry from the lews living in the Soviet Union is heard around the world

•.. "I am a Jew, I want to live in the Jewish State, I want to live in Israel.

LET ME GO!" (See "Let My People Go" G-8, CM-83 and
