Here we have a lovely ( and really rather rare) Wilier Strada, frame size Large.

This is one of the Wilier built 1950’s race bike replicas, built around 2016, with all of the old school racey geometry, but none of the 75year old rust.

The only other marked difference between these two bikes, are the fact that this newer one is TIG welded, rather than the original being brazed.

The ride is phenomenal, very very sweet handling, and very compliant over the bumps.

The spec is mainly RD6700 ultegra, with Miche long drop calipers ( the ultegra std ones are too short) and a Tiagra 50/34 chainset, which purists may scoff at, however is the best match I could find for RD6700 grey.

The wheelset is pro light, and currently has a set of Baldys 28c tyres on in amber wall. These have been chosen as they look good, yet are bomb proof for broken roads. I’ve also got some Vittorias if you prefer something more Italian.

Condition wise, most importantly it’s rust free. There are a few age related marks here and there, no dings, or major scratches.

Whilst you may struggle to see from the pics, it’s professionally been re-touched around the seat tube, top tube junction, possibly due to a previously stuck seat post.

It has had all of the correct decals reapplied, however, the gloss level, does not quite match the rest of the frame, and the colour for this reason does not quite look perfect. You have to look hard to notice, but in the interests of full disclosure……

I will ship to mainland UK, and elsewhere by arrangement. Pick up very much preferred, I can also deliver South Norwich, Bury Edmunds, and East Cambridge, as part of my daily commute. Please message ahead of purchase to ensure we can make it work.
