For sale is a HiFiMAN EF5 Hybrid Headphone Amplifier.

The EF5 is a hybrid tube/solid-state amp that utilizes the popular 12AU7 vacuum tube in the input stage, and a socketed OP275 op-amp on the output stage. It's based on two chassis—one chassis housing a HiFiMAN DY-1 power supply module, and the other housing the main audio circuitry and user controls. Soundwise, it offers terrific bass punch, definition and has really expressive dynamics. Can drive the most power-hungry headphones with authority (e.g. HiFiMAN HE6, Susvara etc.).

The EF5 that I'm selling is in excellent condition with minor signs of use. The only thing that should be noted, is that the cable connecting both chassis has been replaced and in order for the new plug to fit properly, the power adapter hole on the main unit had to be widened a bit. That of course doesn't affect the performance of the EF5 whatsoever. Included are the mentioned connection cable, power cable and an RCA 5963/12AU7 tube. Original box is not present, but will pack everything extremely well. From a pet free, non smoking home. 

I have some additional 12AU7A / 12AU7W / 5963 / 5814A tubes from Philips, RCA, Tung-Sol, TJ Full Music, TAD, Haltron and Sencore that can be added at an extra cost, so if you want to start tube rolling straight away, please let me know and we'll work something out.
