CONDITION

One of the burners (left in main photograph) has a chip on it's upper bowl which extends slightly into the rim and a small chip on the underside of the bowl. Wear commensurate with age observed with loss to gilt. The lid has a slight indentation on it's outer rim and wear to metal commensurate with age is observed. Nice clean interior.

The other burner (right in main photograph) has a small chip on its rim and another on its base. Wear commensurate with age observed with loss to gilt. Tiny indentation on outer rim of lid and wear commensurate with age, Several small black marks inside bowl.

I purchased this pair from an antiques dealer about 10 years ago. The damage never really bothered me as I thought they were so beautiful and I positioned them for display as in the first photograph.
