Of course, it "works", but has issues (as with a LOT of old stuff here on eBay!). The lens has some .haze inside and a small amount of web fungus in the front element group (pic 8). The diaphragm is not stopping down when the button is pushed. Focusing is smooth, but heavy; could use new lube.
The last 2 "cloudy day" pics were taken with it on my Sony NEX-3 test body with an adapter (not included, pic 7). Just for laughs, I made up a Waterhouse-type stop (not included) to see how the lens performs when stopped down. As you can see it really sharpens up! The effective F-stop there was about F/10 or 11 (last pic).
Cosmetically the lens shows wear. Generic caps included.
Thanks to eBay's current draconian policies regarding returns, and parts changers, "renters", scammers, etc, we will no longer sell most items as working, but rather "officially" as parts, not working. Also thanks to the same policies, we will no longer ship directly to any country other than the US. Any overseas buyers must buy thru the ebay shipping program.
The purchaser, upon receipt, might not agree as to my assessment of condition, but that's what it was HERE in MY opinion and it's being sold officially for parts or not working. It may or may not work at all when you get it! NO REFUNDS or RETURNS! If you don't agree to these terms DON'T BUY IT.
