A lovely 1984 Fender Japan ST62 Fotoflame Stratocaster.

Great condition with everything working as it should.

The quality of craftsmanship in the 1990s Japanese Fenders is legendary.

The feel and weight is just right.

The sound is pure glassy Stratocaster.

The Fotoflame exterior decoration is what it is. I've seen some with many more splits in the surface photo and laquer. On this one it is mostly on the back, and easily filled and coloured if that is the way you may want to go.

Of the many models made by Fender Japan, it is the ST62 with its C neck, and the ST54 with its V neck, which are regarded as the best, and I have to agree.

This one is the ST62 D GF model.

The 62 means 1962 model re-issue.

The D means it was made for the Japanese Domestic market.

The G refers to gold hardware, which thankfully has been replaced during the past 40 years.

Not sure about the F. Probably Fender.

New strings just fitted, and semi-hard case included, too.

It will be posted well packaged and fully insured with Parcelforce48.
