Made of a water-resistant polyester blend, the jacket features a quick-dry and wind-resistant construction. The coating or lamination process means that the fabric on this classic capsule comes with a noticeable metallic sheen that is more sensitive to scratch marks (see photo of the pocket with my hand) than polyester garments can be but the fabric tolerates a majority of laundry care on the market.
