Set of six antique pub plates, featuring the alphabet through M, the numbers, and the word pub at the top. These plates are made of a heavy metal, likely pewter, but I’m not 100% sure. They are not marked. They were allegedly used to test the drunkenness of patrons of the pub!

The six plates are in very good condition, considering their age. I have not polished or cleaned them, so you may be able to make them much shinier if desired. They have some light cosmetic wear, and some scratches as they have been used, but overall are in very good shape for continued use! A few have areas that are a bit faded from water contact or use - I have not tried to clean these spots so I'm not sure if they can be removed. Please see photos for full depiction of condition, and inquire with any questions. Plates are 10 inches wide.
