DESCRIPTION 

1968-69 Mopar 318 Four Barrel Mopar Performance Chrome Unsilenced Air Cleaner without CAP. This assembly is an earlier Mopar Performance chrome assembly in overall very good condition. The chrome shows absolute minimal patina, but is still visually good. While never offered as an original option on the early musclecars, this assembly adds further eye appeal to a partially chromed engine. This unit does not feature the breather filter nipple, allowing it to be used on virtually any 60's engine. The base is in excellent condition and features a 5 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the Carter AVS carburetors. To complete the assembly, a new heavy duty air filter and wing nut are included. The 318 Four Barrel decal is a Mopar licensed aftermarket decal that is loosely installed; install it permanently, or replace it with your own custom pie pan, or run it without either.

This assembly is in good condition and will enhance your restoration.

This assembly is image period for the following 1968-69 318 CID models without CAP:

Dodge

Dart Swinger, Charger, Coronet, Polara

Plymouth

Duster, 'Cuda, Fury, Sport Satellite, Belvedere

It will also fit a myriad of 68-74 models with 4 barrel engines, but is only technically/visually correct for 1968-69 models.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors (Thermoquad) with a 5 1/8" diameter flange, as well as most aftermarket models (i.e. Holley, Edelbrock, Demon, etc..) with the same flange size. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
