Two matching drawer handles, impressed with profile of USS Constitution, or "Old Ironsides" as she was known in the 1800s. Made of brass, they are at present attached to an old mahogany drawer front with ebony stringing. The joints have been hand chiselled and the retaining nuts are slightly irregular, hand cut and threaded. There is no indication of maker or date of manufacture. The drawer front french polish is water stained, in whole condition, no worm and capable of restoration if required.

I have no idea of age or origin, having bought from a house clearance.

Postage is for the whole piece but can be adjusted if only the drawer pulls are wanted.
