Here, I have this beautiful Sanyo Flip Clock Radio in working order.

Cosmetically in good condition with the obvious wear and tear for the age of it dating back to the 1970s.

Please see the pictures for more details of the condition focusing on the discolouration on parts of the unit and the fading on the silver border strip on the front face.

This flip clock radio looks fantastic and is hard to find in this condition. All the features have been tested and work as they were designed to do.

The clock works and keeps good time. The alarm has been tested and works as designed. No buzzer on design. the alarm is the radio.

It's worth mentioning that on the 15-minute fold, the numbers 5 and 6 showed half, respectively, until the flip to 7.

This may have been just an isolated incident. However, vintage flip clocks are notorious for such random behaviours having so many moving parts.

There is also the voltage selector, which you can use - 100V, 200V, 240V, which is very hard to find. So, if you live on a continent that uses different power voltages, then this is the one for you.

It is fitted with a 3-pin UK standard plug. For obvious reasons, it's not been tested on the other voltages.

The night light for the clock also works and looks awesome.

The snooze and timer both work as designed, which are simple to program.

The screen is clean and looks amazing both on the clock part and the radio scale with a rare roll-up radio dial.

The radio has a good strong signal and sounds clean, but can do some contact spray clear some crackling on the volume.

The motor for the flip clock does not make noise and is quiet. The folding numbers make a good clicking noise as they fall into place, which sound great.

There is, not tested, an earphones connection.

Overall, this is a great radio clock, which is ideal for a display or a signature piece.

Will send with Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.
