An exceptionally impressive Huge battle sword used at the times of American Revolution by an English horseman warrior of much larger than average proportions, wearing a powerful sturdy double edged blade of hexagonal section, featuring partially worn markings and traces of etched decorations on both sides, exhibiting nice rich patina throughout. Mounted with a large half-basket hilt of gilt finished brass with lovely thick braid wire grip. Solid and intact overall on this Massive battle weapon.

Overall : Whooping 45 1/2"  Blade : 38 1/2" WOW !!!
