This buy it now auction is for an interesting group of antique 19th Century Russian plaques which I believe to be are bronze but could be but I think less likely brass two of which have blue enamel grounds.

They are each parts of small travelling triptychs (three parts) and have contrasting figural religious scenes and have Cyrillic headings.

Condition of the two square plaques is good.The third the smallest does have a chip at top and bottom near the hinges.

Originally each of these plaques would have had two other sections each forming a travelling triptych for people to have with them when embarking on a journey.
