VINTAGE MURANO FRATELLI TOSO LATTICINO FOOTED BOWL 12-1/2” WIDE PASTEL & METALLIC

This beautiful piece of Murano Latticino or Ribbon Glass by Fratelli Toso has been part of our personal collection for more than 35 years. It’s Italian-made Latticino type glass, clear glass filled with ribbons or canes in shades of pink, blue, green, white and metallic. The canes are mainly Garza (gauze) and some Zanfirico. This console or centerpiece bowl is in absolutely perfect condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. The bottom has a ground pontil area in the center of the bottom and the shaped base has been ground also. The base is 4-3/4 across. The bowl is 4-3/8” high and 12-1/2” in diameter. The bowl opening is 2-1/2” wide and the base is actually hollow. It weighs 3 lbs 13 oz. The edge of the bowl is finished in deep scallops.

The ribbon designs cover every area and the ribbons are all bright and colorful. It’s a beautiful, hand-made, one-of-a-kind Fratelli Toso Murano piece with no flaws. If you run your hand over it, you can feel some individual canes sealed in the glass. It’s very heavy. Shipping will be assigned to a professional packing company to insure it arrives at your door in perfect condition.
