il ritratto, probabilmente riferibile a un soggetto esistente, o a un personaggio famoso è stato poi anticamente incollato in un passepartout da collezione XIX sec rifinito con cornici di china a mano. al retro si intravedono scritte come se fosse o un testo collegato alla illustrazione o un frammento di lettera. Per non rovinare l'opera non lo abbiamo distaccato, lasciando al futuro proprietario la decisione se farlo o no.

BEAUTIFUL "CHARACTER" DESIGN 1700 Northern Italy or France unsigned
the portrait, probably referring to an existing subject, or to a famous person, was then glued in a 19th century collectible passepartout finished with hand-made ink frames. on the back you can see writing as if it were either a text connected to the illustration or a fragment of a letter. In order not to ruin the work, we have not detached it, leaving the decision whether to do so or not to the future owner.
