Please see all supersize photos. Any questions – just ask me. True vintage early 1960s mid-century modern - French square tablecloth, in a chic chateau/country manor house style, entirely handmade. Very pretty embroidered wavy continuous chain of meadow flowers with a hint of a green lawn line with the daisy, forget-me-not (to name a few) petals in pastels....I can see purples, oranges, yellows & pinks, with green stems and lawn/grass blades. All connected around the middle of the tablecloth in a sort of octagon shaped centre area. Lovely detail of 2 embroidered flowers on each corner - the same on each opposite corner, rather than all 4 sides being the same. The inner top circle pattern is of the same embroidered grass blades/lawn. In 100% pure cotton. Unused - has been stored carefully away for
decades, and only unfolded today for photos......during storage, I can see 2
tiny micro holes and 1 tiny stain dot have developed (see last photo). Approx size: 123cm x 125cm square
