Here's a new one that needs to be addressed: Ebay is charging you 15% on the taxes they collect, to go along w/ the 15% on shipping & 15% on the item, & 15% on the 15%. If you don't believe me, look for yourself: Order details. See more details (bottom right). View(far right). The down arrow (next to fees based on.) Is it legal to charge fees for taxes that Ebay is collecting & you aren't collecting? I figure that's millions of dollars a day. I'd recommend giving them a call to discuss this...
I specialize in unread, unopened high-grade copies & lifetime collections. This auction is for the 1st photo only: FORBIDDEN WORLDS #41 CGC 6.0 Cr-OW horror (1956 Schaffenberger SCI-FI 10 center.) I am selling thousands of gold, silver & bronze comics along w/ unread copies comics back to the 70's. Extra scans are new items being listed in other auctions. CGC bks will be wrapped in bubble wrap & crushed newspaper. After 30 yrs of using media mail to save buyers thousands in shipping, the P.O. has eliminated 99% of the media mail & bks are no longer media. I can combine ship for just $2.
Comments on the CGC bks: My pricing is based on the sold CGC bks by taking the lowest priced copies & dropping my price some if possible. I know I usually sell bks much cheaper than most everyone else. But dealing w/ CGC is insanely expensive. They lost a giant batch of my bks which cost me $10,000-$20,000 in losses. They double charged my credit card. They no longer give me discounts on huge batches. They don't keep their promises or word on the big bks I have sent in. Pre-grade expectations cost an extra $7 a bk now? Getting the nicest copies in the world is expensive.
