§ Warm your hand.
§ Rest your handon your chest at the level of your heart and hold it still.
§ Switch thepulse oximeter on and place it on your finger.It works best on your middle orindex finger of either hand.
§ Keep the pulseoximeter in place for at least 30 seconds,or longer if the reading keepschanging.
