Obviously the DANGER OF DEATH KEEP OUT wasn’t a deterrent to an ardent collector like me!

Actually this sign is from a decommissioned power station in Manchester.

It is an high quality incised laminated sign from the 1980/90’s

The laminate has 4 layers. the lettering is cut through the yellow outer layer into the black inner layer.

Then there is a ‘filler’ layer and another yellow one.

This makes for a very impressive sign!

The fourth photo shows a similar sign in situ.
