Published by the German publisher, J.F. Schreiber, the kit builds a 1:87 scale model of a Roman Wooden Watchtower.

The Watchtower models a typical wooden structure found on the Limes, the Roman defensive system in Germany, designed to give early warning of an attack by barbarians. 

The parts of the kit together with full English text and diagrams are printed on 2 sheets of A3 card. 

The completed model is measures 20 x 20 x 17 cm.

The modeller cuts out the pieces, scores, bends, folds and curves them into the right shape before gluing them together. The result is a proper 3-D scale model.
