An interesting silver P & O SS Arcadia souvenir teaspoon, with the enamelled P & O flag at the finial. The bowl is engraved 'Arcadia' with 'Peninsular &Oriental Steam Navigation Company' around the edge of the bowl. The spoon is English sterling silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1953. The maker's mark 'Mn&Wb' refers to the well known silversmiths and retailers Mappin & Webb. It measures 13 cm long, and weighs 22.7 grams.
SS Arcadia was run by P & O from 1953 to 1979.
Condition: Good condition. No damage to the enamel. Surface scratching commensurate with age and use. Tip slightly pushed in. Please see full description and photos.
