A dark blue indigo denim with red line selvedge and sanforized to help avoid shrinking. Selvedge denim is seen as the 'gold standard' of denim. The denim for these premium jeans is woven on a shuttle loom with the resulting fabric being narrower, and having a tighter weave, leading to it being more durable and heavyweight. Selvedge denim is often characterized by having a colored thread running through the edge of the fabric.
