For sale here is a pre WW2 Pre Spanish Civil War M21 Steel Combat Helmet.  This helmet has seen a green overpaint at some point, but it does not have an insignia holder on the front, and has hollow side rivets.  The helmet is complete with leather liner, and the chin strap is mostly there, but has broken just past the long side rivet.   The leather liner is slightly stiff.  The padding remains behind only one of the 3 fingers of the leather liner.  The chinstrap is stiff, but not brittle, and could be fixed for display.  This is a rare early M21 variant.
