95 year old letter! The letter was written by the traffic manager at Western Cartridge Company Equitable Powder Manufacturing Company. The company is a manufacturer of ammunition, brass and powder in East Alton Illinois.
Letter reads,
"Oct. 21, 1929
Mr. C. L. Horn, Pres.,
Federal Cartridge Co.,
Minneapolis, Minn.
Dear Sir:
Forwarded, Oct. 19th, CCC&STL 46876, brass, weighing 44103# (89 sc.), routed B/4-C&A-SOO Line-GN, covered by East Alton (Big Four) way-bill 942.
This for your information.

Signed by F. P. Zimmerman, but it looks like it may be a stamp of his signature.?
Letter is in excellent condition. The paper is folded and has been stamped and written on. Original message was typed with a typewriter. Small tear on one fold. Paper has yellowed from age.
