This was instituted in the 1920s and awarded retrospectively to all those who had been combatants in WWI. It is still awarded to those who earn a "Carte du Combatant" to signify that they have been in a combat role. This is one of the early solid bronze types, more recent awards are in gilded metal.

I will send an invoice at the end of the auction with the correct postage for your destination.

Buyer pays US$6 for standard airmail postage or $14 for registered mail outside the UK. Postage within the UK is $6. Registered airmail is much safer since it allows tracking of packages and compensation in the event of loss. For high value items and certain destinations with unreliable postal systems I will only ship under registered airmail.

I am always willing to combine postage on multiple wins.

Please note that unless registered mail is used it is not possible to track an item if it goes missing in the post. This greatly increases the risk that an item can get permanently lost.
