The F17 Corvette is traditionally the smallest class of vessel considered to be a proper (or "rated") warship. The modern roles that a corvette fulfills include coastal patrol craft, missile boat and fast attack craft. These Corvettes are typically between 500 and 2,000 tons. Dinky Toys was the brand name for a range of die-cast zamak zinc alloy scale model vehicles, traffic lights, and road signs produced by British toy company Meccano Ltd. They were made in England from 1934 to 1979, at a factory in Binns Road in Liverpool.
