Antique Wooden Bookbinder's Screw Clamp/Vice/Press.

Approximately 23"/58cm wide x 14.5"/37cm long x 4.5"/11cm high antique wood tool weighing around 5kg, used by a bookbinder for holding together the pages when they are sewn together prior to being attached to the covers.   We haven't dared try to open it in case it gets damaged.    

The item is antique and has visible wear, it has been treated for woodworm and may need additional treatment in the future.
