One Hundred Flowers From The Royal Horticultural Society in Presentation Box

A 2013 collection of 100 postcards presented in a cardboard box. At less than 23p each this is a great way of collecting these beautiful RHS postcards.  It would also make a lovely present.

All are like new, as is the box which has no signs of storage wear or age related discolouration.

Text from inside cover of box:-
“100 Flowers from the Royal Horticultural Society gathers together the most striking botanical images from the RHS Lindley Libraries to create 100 different postcards to send, keep or frame. The earliest date from the late 17th century or early 18 century and are by an anonymous Italian artist and the latest from the middle of the 20th century.

100 flowers from the Royal Horticultural Society includes works by artists such as Claude Aubriet (1665-742), Georg Dionysius Ehret (1708-70) and James Bolton (1758-99) Margaret Meen, Lilian Snelling MBE Graeme Stuart Thomas and others.

Also included are colour prints from one of the great multi-volume anthologies of rare and unusual plants from around the world: Ludwig Reichenbach’s Icones Florae Germanicae et Helveticae. Also from this period are hand coloured engravings from The British Flower Garden (1823-37) and The Florist’s Guide (1827-32) both produced and published by the nurseryman and horticulturist Robert Sweet (1782-1835)”
