Original coastal survey chart of the North Carolina Albemarle Sound from 1855. This has been professionally hand colored as well, and it is beautiful.

Professionally applied artists tape to seams in back to provide stability. Looks like a little light writing on the back in pencil. I think it says “albemarle.”
