The S series has a small, thin body that provides a good fit and responsiveness to the player's body. The S3 uses Sitka spruce for the top of the body, rosewood for the sides and back, which produces deep bass and sparkling treble, and mahogany for the neck. The rich, full-bodied resonance and clear sound with a sense of separation that only rosewood can provide maintains an exquisite balance from high to low frequencies. With arpeggios and fingerstyle, the notes intertwine with each other in a crisp manner, creating a complex and delicate melody.
