A beautiful antique porcelain slop bowl made by Coalport with the distinctive ‘Adelaide’ moulded rim.

Beautifully decorated with a deep band of peach overlaid with ornate gilding and a finely hand painted river scene of a shallow waterfall in a rocky landscape.

Diameter: 17.5cm. Height: 7.5cm. Unmarked.

Purchased some years ago from a Shropshire antique dealer who believed that it was originally part of a service commissioned for Hawkstone Hall depicting scenes from the estate. I cannot verify this.

Offered for sale in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Very minor manufacturing flaws and age-related wear. Rings perfectly when tapped.
