Great warm sound, plenty of power, awesome looks... This is a heavy beast, high-quality, Japan-made piece from the 1970s, the heyday of stereo equipment. This particular sample is in good cosmetic shape, but it does have some veneer issues (typical in this line). Please see pictures for exact condition, as the veneer is lifting at a few places and a couple small pieces are missing. Issue may not be visible depending on your stereo rack configuration, or you may want to reveneer the unit as it's often done. Discounted asking price reflects this. All bulbs seem to work including the Power, Stereo, AM, FM, Phono and AUX indicators, as can be seen in the video. Meters and tuning dial lights work as well.

The cabinet itself is solid though and the fascia looks great. All of the original knobs and levers are present, and all functions work without any issues, scratchiness or crackling. Please see video of receiver in operation here

IMHO, the x50 series is the best Pioneer receiver series ever made. Before that, they were a bit too primitive (the x2x and x3x series), and after that they started to cut costs (the x80 series doesn't have discrete power devices, it uses power packs that tend to fail and good quality replacements are difficult to find). This is the sweet spot for price, quality and performance, and many prefer the sound of the 750 to that of its bigger brothers, the 850 and the 950. (The 650 and below unfortunately have power packs as opposed to discrete outputs, so they are not as desirable.)

Due to the vintage nature of the receiver, it is being sold as is, no returns. Quoted shipping price only applies to lower 48 states. If located outside the continental US, please contact me before bidding. For buyers outside the US, I encourage the use of eBay Global, although please note that additional fees may apply. The receiver will be carefully packed, double boxed and surrounded with foam to ensure safe arrival to its destination. Please read my feedback and bid with confidence! I've sold and shipped hundreds of vintage stereo units (including delicate turntables and tube equipment) without issue.

Local pick up is welcome in the Rochester, NY area. Thanks for looking!
