Shellman is an antique watch shop founded in 1971 located in Ginza, Tokyo.
The Grand Complication is an original watch series created by Shellman.
It replicates four complex mechanisms - Minute Repeater, Perpetual Calendar, Moon Phase, and Split-Second Chronograph - using quartz movement.
This achievement made it possible to acquire a watch with the same functions as those of the time for less than 1/1000th of the price, marking a world first.

As a historically significant timepiece, it has received numerous honors.
In December 1996, it won the "Watch of the Year" and the "Jury's Special Award" at the World Photo Press event.
The following year, it became a permanent exhibit at the International Watch Museum in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, the most prestigious museum of its kind globally.
Being displayed there signifies that this watch has left its mark on the history of watches worldwide.
