Opel Manta 1.8 5 speed gearbox.

Getrag 240. Same bell housing pattern as the C20XE Redtop and Vauxhall Family 2 engines. Getting hard to find now.

.

Recently pulled out of a running car, this gearbox is a little noisy but shifts okay. The selector shaft oil seal needs replacing as it leaks pretty bad. Personally I would probably give it a refurb before putting back in a vehicle.

Any questions? Please ask!

Edit:

To answer the questions I've been getting and to provide a bit more clarity:

There's bearing noise from the box that be mainly heard on overrun, not really bad but definitely noticable. Possibly the input shaft bearing or similar. Seems okay underload. Syncros seem okay, no worse shifting than my old GTE. Personally I'd refresh the box with new bearings and seals and inspect for further wear. The box has not been run low on oil, despite the oil leak from the selector seal (which started about 1500 miles ago) , I regularly checked the oil level before removing from the car. The gear selector bracket has been modified so it can be unbolted from below in the car and has not been shortened or modified any further. It could easily be put back to standard as it is complete.
