This listing is for a VINTAGE SONY MINIDISC WALKMAN RECORDER MODEL MZ-R37, well preserved, looks close to new. This player uses two AA size batteries for power. The cover for the battery compartment is attached to the body on this model but in the last photo you can see it's coming loose completely because someone pulled it too hard when opening it to change the batteries so one tiny bit of plastic that holds it hanging loose to the body when opened, that bit broke off, so you will now need to place the cover back into its position when closing the battery compartment yourself, it does close shut properly after you position it back in its place and slide it to close and you will feel it snap securely into its place and gets locked, it can't fall off on its own after that, you can now start using the player.
Playback and recording was tested and item works fine. Included is only the player, no paper box but will be packed in a small shipping box.
