Vintage from the 1950s

A charming vintage French large wirework bowl, dating from the mid 20th Century, in its original dark grey paint.

This is a lovely piece of French vintage homeware, perfect for use as a bread basket, fruit bowl or for storing trinkets and keys in as a centrepiece on a table or dresser.

In excellent condition, it's a very well made piece which sits sturdily, making it ideal for a range of purposes. There is a slight gap in the edging of the wirework on one side of the bowl, which could be tightened with a piece of wire if required. However, this piece on the whole is held together very well.

The original deep grey paint is fading in places, but this adds to the timeworn vintage charm of the piece.
