Vehicle Details

1966 Datsun Roadster 1600. All Original. The covenant low windshield, with side window vents and no head rest (prior to the FTA mandating these features in 1967.5). Clean title, not a salvage title, and is currently registered in CA with custom black plates. Odometer shows 64.7K miles but the exact mileage is not known. Has a newer 3 core aluminum radiator, E Distributed, new coil AND New Battery. Alternator is on the Right Side, with no smog pump (vehicle is also smog exempt). The rims (NOT Panasport - more like BBS style, but also NOT BBS) are after-market aluminum with bigger 185/65/14 tires. Tires have good tread and hold pressure. Front brake calipers are new and have been replaced from Datsun Restoration Products, as well as the pads, rotors, SS Lines with Speed Bleeders, and wheel bearings. New Mike Young front springs, which will allow the front TO DROP 1.25" (level with the rear) with new Bilstein front shocks is included, but neither is installed.

A new master break cylinder from Sin City Datsun is included, but not installed. Front and rear bumper has been replaced with new chromed bumpers (No Over-Riders or prep for them). New SS 6 peace side trim is included, but not installed. It has a new SS grille surround is installed with the original black grille, but not period correct, more like a 2000 grille surround without the cross member and the "D". Datsun emblems are from a 1970 roadster but are installed. Hood Datsun emblems are not installed but are included and as many of these years the posts are broken. All the gauges work. As well as the headlights. Taillights need chasing out, but brake lights work. Has the original mechanical fuel pump, but if you are wanting a new electrical fuel pump, we can work something out. Comes with some original parts like the original rims, with tires on them, but not sure what shape they are in. Also comes with a center console, but not installed. The interior is in decent shape, but needs a dash cap. The color is currently oxidized red, but the original color appears to be Cream. Runs and drives good, does not overheat, but you will have to pump the brakes due to the system needing bleeding and the master cylinder needing to be installed (but included). There is a small shimmy at around 50 that evens out at 55. I believe it is a wheel balance issue. There is a small oil pan leak, but I will include a new gasket, with oil (VR1 High Zink) and filter.
