Description:
Oil on canvas, mounted on board. Signed Alex Oxley  and dated 1968. Fine British landscape with cars and people, including a Classic Sunbeam Alpine car and triumph bike. Framed in its authentic frame.  A rare oil by British illustrator, Alex Oxley.  A certificate of authenticity will be included with this work.


Condition:
Ready to hang. In good condition. The oil could use a light cleaning, due to the old age. Otherwise fine with no holes, tears or missing paint. The original  frame has minor scratches due to the age.



Alex Oxley ( 20th century)
Alex Oxley was an animator, cartoonist, and illustrator active from 1920-1960s. With a huge passion for motorcycles, he worked for Triumph to design advertising posters for the British brand.
