Vintage 1960s INTERPOL Chronograph Watch (Working, but does need a service)

Stunning 1960s INTERPOL Chrono

All SWISS MADE

Marked 'T' indicating Tritium lume,

Kmh distance markers around outer dial,

Date window

GMT multi directional bezel

Winding crown at the 4 o'clock position, Pusher for minute hand return at 2 o'clock position,

The seconds are measured in the small silver dial situated between the 6 and 7 o'clock position.

 The Chrono minutes hand is the thin white hand situated in the centre, with the lumed hour and minute hands.

Stainless steel back.

Stainless steel beads of rice strap, solid links, can be made smaller by removing links which are held together by split pins.

The watch works intermittently... Sometimes works straight away...Sometimes it doesn't... you leave it and then when you check it's started working... It seems to work when it's in a warm room... It was left on a table in our living room which has the log burner in, i.e., a very warm room and it ticks nicely and keeps good time...

BUT the watch will need to be serviced, I have no service history for the watch, and due to its age it would need to be cleaned etc...

So Please don't buy if you want a watch to wear straight out of the box, despite its fantastic condition this is an old watch dating from the 1960s

So could be kept as is for display in a watch collection, but for everyday use it will need to be Serviced.

Outer condition of the watch:

Fabulous condition for its age, the original crystal has only minimal signs of use... small faint marks.

The outer case is much the same looks truly stunning, so are the crown and the pusher.

The multi directional Bezel is also near perfect, no dents, no scratches which really does add to the fantastic appearance of the watch.

The Tritium lume still works and glows very well which you can see in the pictures,
