This is originally a Humax HDR-1100S 500GB Hard Disk Recorder, then I upgraded its 500GB Hard Drive to 2TB Hard Drive, so this is similar to Humax HDR-1100S 500GB or Humax HDR-1100S 1TB Recorder with a 2TB Hard Drive now. I upgraded a few of them and this is an extra one.

Not used much - upgraded, then just used for a few days to check it

If you are new to Freesat, (Literally you record and watch your favourite TV programs without paying a penny for anybody)  this is a Freesat twin tuner High Definition receiver and recorder, so you need to connect this Unit to a  Satellite Disk. You can connect this Unit to your already existing two cables come from your normal Duel Feed SKY Satellite Disk and enjoy. This unit gets the Freesat channels from Euro bird satellite located at 28.2 °E. These are the same group of satellites used for the Sky Pay-TV platform.

 

 

Very important:

This Unit does not work with your normal RF antenna / Arial cable come from your ordinary roof antenna aerial.

 

This Humax Receiver / Recorder works with cables come from your already available SKY dish without any adjustment?

( You just remove Sky box and connect this recorder to the same two cables. No need to do any adjustments or movements to the Satellite Disk.)

 

Please note that some satellite dishes that have been set up to receive Sky Q feature a different LNB (the part that sticks out from the satellite dish), so if you are switching from Sky Q you may need a satellite installation company to change the LNB on your dish back to a standard or Hybrid fitting in order to make it compatible with Freesat.

If you already have a SKY Q box connected to your Satellite Disk, please try to sort out the LNB installation first, then buy this Humax Recorder.

Good condition

Generally, the case is unmarked, No dents on the case as you see on pictures, but you will find hairline scratch marks here and there, very minor unnoticeable marks or used marks, such as blemishes. These are high gloss finish ones, so you will see lots of used marks on them, but unnoticeable.
