Design
The
coin portrays colored images of James Bond and Francisco Scaramanga standing
back-to-back at the start of their pistol duel. The background incorporates
representations of the sea and islands, with spiral shapes from the famous 007
gun barrel logo. The colored inscription ‘THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN FIFTY
YEARS’ sits beneath the Bond Family Crest bearing the motto ORBIS NON SUFFICIT
(the world is not enough) and the number 50.
The
obverse of the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen
Elizabeth II supplemented with the dates of her reign ‘1952-2022’, as well as
the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination and 2024 year-date.
