Approx. 7.25" diameter, has remnants of Goldtone trim. Pink horseshoe shaped calendar for 1910. Scene depicts a man Trout Fishing or Fly Fishing. He has a Creel or Wicker Fishing Basket. Dated 1910. Artist signed transfer "AM". Marked "Carnation McNicol" on the back. Carnation McNichol Pottery was in East Liverpool,Ohio. The company began operation in 1892 and moved to Clarksburg, West Virginia, in the 1920s. It stayed in business in the later location until the 1960s. At one point it was known as "D.E. McNicol Pottery". There are some flaws-an old 0.25" chip on the Bottom back rim, not visible from the front. And a large 3" crack on the bottom of the plate. Only a teeny portion of it is faintly visible on the front (right) since it is under the area of the Pink Calendar design. You have to really look for it. (SEE PHOTOS) . The transfer on the front, of the Fisherman, has age wear and some scratches. Still a nice Fly Fishing /. Trout Fishing memento from 1910. I was unable to find any info on the B.F. Scroggs General Merchandise Store in Walton, Indiana.   No other damage found.  Please see all photos and read all info before purchase. **The precise color of the items may vary depending on the specific monitor, the settings and the lighting conditions.
