My dad and I have owned this 1991 5.3 V12 for about 3 years now with all good intentions of restoring her back to former glory.

We welcome all offers but please be realistic. The engines in good condition go for £1000 on their own. The exhaust was £900 new.

Inevitably life has got in the way and I've found out just how time consuming a new born baby can be. Realistically we just want to move it on now as we won't get time to finish it ourselves. Runs and drives with no real issues. I drove the car around 50miles last year and it performed fine without breaking down or overheating.

Slight coolant leak from a split in a hose at the rear of the engine.

Sounds like a spitfire starting up (the plane not the triumph) low mileage engine 75k miles.

BIG JOB DONE - new plugs and leads has been carried out. It starts and runs on the button. Superb engine and auto box in good order.

Full stainless exhaust system which hasn't really seen the road at all, worth around £900 alone!

NOT A TOTAL ROT BOX... floors although have had patches in the past are solid. Sills are really good! There's some slight rot on the drivers end as pictured and on the passenger rear lower quarter, other then that it seems to be just some surface rust.

Good set of alloys which are straight and look to have been repainted not too pong ago. All tyres hold pressure and have decent tread. NOT SO GOOD: bodywork is generally tatty and the passenger side has been painted in places not very well. We've rubbed down and protected some areas but it's got marks and scratches on it.

Interior is a bit shabby. All carpets are there but not necessarily fitted. Sports seats are there but need a clean and fettle. I have sill plates, drivers door card and other spares to go at the asking price. It will need a new headlining as although the board is in place the fabric isn't.

Passenger door id stuck shut. Suspect the door wiring as it did open, as did the window which now doesn't function, even when swapping the drivers switch which does work.

Obviously no mot now. Nothing screaming bad on it but will likely need some new bushes in places as its been sat a good while. Door will need fixing. Will need going over.

Rust in the tailgate and in the buttress Edge in the left side although my asking price includes a good clean boot-lid in burgundy. Owners pack to be included but little history.

Quite a few spares and new bits in pieces to be included in the boot. Including some matched paint. We also have the fuel flap in the correct colour.

Certainly a project car but it is running and driving! Would be great to see it back on the road but if you had a straight shell this engine and running gear/exhaust could make a great finishing touch.

Strongly suggest trailering away or recovery but it is running and driving.

Located in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire 10 minutes from Stansted Airport. £2250 it owes us more but we are being realistic about it.
