I bought this and used this a couple of years ago..... At that time I Had had a Window's Laptop, and with the software this tester worked great........ It can also be used without software, but it nowhere as nice........ I think I paid close to $200....... anyway before you purchase, do your homework and go to the Ketonix website and make sure they have software for this older unit that will work on what every computer platform you have...... I don't think they support ChromeBook for example, and not all the Mac's either
