I have for sale a practice inert
drill part for a No36 (a reproduction).
It is based upon real ones dating
from 1944.
Just place it into the centre tube.
Manufactured in the UK by a qualified engineer, it is made from solid KA alloy
(made to look like aged zinc) and
an aluminium tube with 4 small
holes with an open end. The aluminium tube is crimped onto the cord. It is
totally inert.
The cord part is a dirty yellow colour and is shaped to fit correctly into a
centre tube. It goes all the way down the
aluminium tube.
The anvil is of the tapered type. There are no moving parts or anything
dangerous.
It would complete a No36 nicely as these parts are hard to come by in good
condition.
It is totally safe and could be used by re-enactors or simply to enhance/
finish off your collection.
The photos are just to show what it looks like. There are no other parts.
The cost reflects the ever rising
price of materials and fuel needed to manufacture them.
