Great vintage brass elephant, horse brass buckle.
This English brass dates from the 1920s-1940s and it was made from metal that was intended to be used for shells in either World War 1 or WW2.
Following the world wars there was a need to promote the farming industry hence the re purposing of the left over metal into horse brass's.
Perfect to add to a brass/horse brass collection or an elephant collection
